The Opinel N°07 Stainless Steel Folding Knife is a versatile and robust tool, ideal for outdoor activities such as picnics. Slightly smaller than the N°08 yet larger than the N°06, it strikes the perfect balance for portability and functionality.

The knife features a Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel blade, renowned for its anti-corrosive properties and ease of sharpening, thanks to a carbon content of at least 0.40%.  The handle is crafted from premium wood varieties, including beech, hornbeam, walnut, and ash, all sourced from ecologically managed French woodlands in the Alpine region and Jura mountains. Safety is paramount, and the patented Virobloc safety ring ensures the blade remains securely opened or closed during use and transport.

Each knife is stamped with the Crowned Hand emblem, a mark of quality and authenticity that has been a tradition since 1909.

2. Sharpening: Regularly sharpen the blade using a whetstone or sharpening tool to maintain its cutting quality.

3. Storage: Store the knife in a dry place, preferably in a sheath, to protect the blade and handle from moisture and damage.

4. Maintenance: Periodically apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil to the blade to enhance corrosion resistance and maintain its appearance.

5. Handle Care: The wood handle can be treated with a wood conditioner to preserve its natural beauty and prevent drying or cracking.
